Judge Goes Viral for Savagely Putting Rioters in Their Place
The Supreme Court has declined to entertain the plea of Sashidhar Jagdishan, CEO and Managing Director of HDFC Bank, emphasizing that it would be inappropriate for them to hear the plea since the case is already on the High Court's schedule, listed for hearing on July 14. The bench of Justice P S Narasimha and Justice R Mahadevan however expressed hope that the High Court will address this matter promptly.
Sashidhar Jagdishan, had taken his case to the Supreme Court, with a plea to get a First Information Report (FIR) filed by Lilavati Kirtilal Mehta Medical Trust against him dismissed . The FIR lodged by the Bandra Police Station in Mumbai, outlines serious charges against Jagdishan under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), specifically Sections 406, 409, and 420, all of which pertain to various forms of breach of trust and cheating.
