In a full Court meeting held on January 22, 2025, Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna and the Supreme Court Collegium, comprising Justices B.R. Gavai, Surya Kant, Hrishikesh Roy, and Abhay S. Oka, designated the following former Chief Justices and Judges of High Courts as Senior Advocates with effect from January 22, 2025:

1. Arvind Singh Sangwan – Former Judge, High Court of Judicature at Allahabad

2. C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy – Former Judge, High Court of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

3. Goutam Bhaduri – Former Judge, High Court of Chhattisgarh

4. S. Vaidyanathan – Former Chief Justice, High Court of Meghalaya
