Justice Manmohan Appointed as Judge of the Supreme Court

Shri Justice Manmohan, currently serving as the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, has been appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India.

The appointment was made by the President of India under the powers conferred by Article 124(2) of the Constitution. Justice Manmohan will assume charge of his new office in the apex court on the date he takes the oath of office.

The notification, issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice, was signed by Mr. Jagannath Srinivasan, Joint Secretary to the Government of India.
