Maharashtra Government Invites Applications for Honorary Assistants post for Bombay High Court

 

The Law and Judiciary Department of  Government of Maharashtra, Mantralaya, Mumbai, has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of ‘Honorary Assistant’ to Government Pleaders at the High Court of Judicature of Bombay, Original Side, Appellate Side(Writ Cell), Mumbai. 

Interested candidates can apply by submitting their applications before the deadline i.e. 04th October, 2024.

Designation: Honorary Assistant.

Eligibility criteria for the post : 

  • The  applicant must be:
  • A Citizen of India.
  • Applicant must be a holder of a degree in Law from any recognized university and be enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.
    • Applicant must not be more than 55 years of age on the date of advertisement.
    • Applicant must  have  practiced as an Advocate for at least 3 years, on the date of advertisement.

 

 

    • Procedure to Apply:- 
    • The application duly filled must be submitted to the Registry, Law and Judiciary Department, Room No. 345, 3rd Floor, Annex Building, Mantralaya, Mumbai 400032.
    • The application shall reach the given address in office hours on or before 4th October,2024.
    • On the envelope, “Application for... (post name) and... (side for which applied)” shall be clearly mentioned. It should be noted that applications sent at any other place or by any other mode shall not be accepted.
    • The pro forma of application is available on the official website of the government (www.maharashtra.gov.in) and the official website of the Law and Judiciary Department (lj.maharashtra.gov.in).
    • The last date for submission of application is 4th October, 2024, in office hours (up to 06.15 p.m.) only. No additional applications will be accepted after this deadline.
    • The document requires strict adherence to the prescribed format for attaching enclosures to documents.
    • The Law and Judiciary Department of the Government of Maharashtra has the authority to select eligible candidates for interviews after evaluating their applications.
    • Canvassing or pressurizing in any manner by any candidate shall entail disqualification.
