On 14th July, 2025 in a significant judicial development, the President of India ordered the transfer of Justice Nitin Wasudeo Sambre from the Bombay High Court to the Delhi High Court.

The official notification reads as:

“In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to transfer Shri Justice Nitin Wasudeo Sambre, Judge, Bombay High Court, to be a Judge of Delhi High Court and to direct him to assume charge of his office in the Delhi High Court.”
