"What's your year of enrollment?" asked a visibly dismayed bench of Justice Rekha Palli and Justice Saurabh Banerjee. The lawyer for the petitioner stated, "2014", while the lawyer for the respondent said, "2018". Wasting no time, a fine of ₹16,000 each was ordered to be paid by each of them for seeking the adjournment of the matter. A vexed bench stated, "You are bringing disrepute to the Delhi Bar. Don't spoil the name of the bar." They urged the legal professionals to maintain the integrity and professionalism of the legal community.
