In a meeting held on 20th February, 2025, the Supreme Court Collegium resolved to recommend the elevation of three additional judges of the Bombay High Court to the status of permanent judges.

As per the official statement, the judges proposed for confirmation are :

• Justice Shailesh Pramod Brahme,
• Justice Firdosh Phiroze Pooniwalla,
• Justice Jitendra Shantilal Jain. 

Furthermore, the Collegium has advised extending the tenure of Justice Manjusha Ajay Deshpande as an additional judge for an additional term of one year.
