In the wake of enhancing judicial accessibility and efficiency, the Supreme Court Registry offices will be open on all Saturdays starting from July 14, 2025.

Such an administrative change is introduced vide a notification issued by the Registrar (Court & Building). The amendment will result in the deletion of the calendar entry stating, “Registry will remain closed on 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month.”

Consequently, The Court Resgistry offices from July 14 , 2025, will remain open on all Saturdays starting July 14. However, only matters of ‘urgent nature’ will be accepted after 4:30 PM on weekdays and after 12 noon on Saturdays.

Further,Except on the days which are holidays both for the Court and the offices of the Court, the officer of the Court shall be open during partial Court working days and Christmas and New Year holidays of the Court at such times as the Chief Justice may direct.

Notification
