The Supreme Court Collegium previously recommended the names of the following Advocates for appointment as Judges of the High Court of Bombay:

• Ms. Nivedita Prakash Mehta,
• Shri Prafulla Surendrakumar Khubalkar,
• Shri Ashwin Damodar Bhobe,
• Shri Rohit Wasudeo Joshi, and
• Shri Advait Mahendra Sethna.

The Government of India has approved the Supreme Court recommendation for their appointment as the Judges of the Bombay High Court. It is reliably learnt that the advocates have been given 'Stop Work' Intimation.
