Dr. Javier Cremades is a globally renowned legal professional and academic, currently serving as the President of the World Jurist Association (WJA) and the World Law Foundation. He is the founder and president of Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo Abogados, an international law firm operating across 15 cities in 8 countries. With a PhD in Law from Regensburg (Germany) and UNED (Spain) and an honorary doctorate from the International University of Valencia, Dr. Cremades is celebrated for his expertise in human rights, civil liberties, and freedom of expression. His work focuses on defending media rights, adapting legal practices to the digital era, and publishing extensively on public and corporate law. Among his accolades, he was named Lawyer of the Year in Spain (2015) by Forbes Magazine and has received numerous international honors from bar associations.
